Size up the rooms – Are the rooms big enough for your family? You always need to check if the room size is fit for purpose, and if you can fit all the furniture in you need.

Walk around the area – Not only do you want to know the ins and outs of the property but you should also take a look around the surrounding area, check to see what the traffic is like and if you are near any loud places such as a railway.

Can you extend the property – As you are moving into a new home you always want to know there is an opportunity to change the property if you need to. Ask about planning permission and if you have the space to extend the property.
